  • LivWithClairity: Lead Not Into Temptation Is More Than A Biblical Term

    Everything is love in disguise

When you think of temptation, you probably think of some form of nefarious behavior, such as crime and infidelity? Yes, of course these choices in action most certainly begin within the temptation sphere. There are many layers to the human psyche. There are many layers to yourself.

As I mentioned in previous posts, I am not a doctor, nor am I a traditional mental health specialist from a modern day standards of practice lens. With that said, I have studied, and continue to study, human behavior. A conditioned ego fascinated me.  I have held a deep desire to understand myself and all of creation for a large portion of my life. I dissect my own mind to be able to clearly see and understand my reality. I am intimately familiar with my ego. I continue to build an intimate relationship with my God, as well as my trusted, and highly influential guide for me, and whom I lovingly referred to as, Clairity.

Temptation is presented to you everyday in some fashion. Life demands balance. With that in mind, the moment someone overextends their focus on something or someone to the point of obsession, they risk entering into temptation. They may become tempted to reach out to someone prematurely. They may tempt themselves to deceive someone to get to a perceived “dangled carrot”, because time didn’t meet up with their own expectations. When time becomes torturous and painstaking, desperation takes the driver’s seat. A person may live a life of poverty and then receive a large quantity of money. They may not be accustomed to the responsibility of that gross amount of money. With that, the ego rush leads them into temptation by overspending rather than investing long term.

Overindulgence in any form is an outward reflection of internal energy which is heavily surprised and that is being forced back up towards the surface of said person’s conscious mind. The universe law of cause and effect goes about accomplishing this by symbolic representations of some kind. Starve a person. Reward a person. Starve them long enough, rewards become overindulged. Overindulgence can lead to a level of unhealthy and codependent, attachment style living arrangement.

Codependency is lucrative in the wrong hands. Control is mastered by a self controlled mind over a fearful tempted mind. Temptation creates great money. Temptation can also create great loss in the end. Every time you experience a sense of loss, you fracture another part of yourself.

Temptation is the sweet candy that helps to quickly sooth an unfulfilled void, or a fear of loss in some way. Temptation leads to an eventual crash out because temptation is low quality fuel for low quality mileage and results. A burst that fizzles out unless you feed into temptation to help keep your momentum going. What a vicious cycle this leads to. No fun is had in the end. You only end up with a heightened addiction, not a heightened awareness.

An example of this can be a person who receives food after several years of starvation. They can inadvertently hurt themselves with a form of overindulgence. The food is new. The reward is great. Who can resist? I want more!, sort of deal.

A “sold” soul is a conditioned ego who comes to believe their free will is no longer in their hands, for whatever reason, and to whatever capacity. When you “sell your soul to the devil”, you may not be literally selling your soul, nor might it be to a literal devil. What you would be doing is agreeing to have your mind conditioned enough to where you would venture down the road to a darker reality.

“Lead me not into temptation” may mean to be aware of your dangers associated with your personal desperation over your personal persistence.

The words “lead me not into temptation” is equivalent to saying, “I chose patience over instant rewards”. Patience creates habits and therefore a fored outcome to any degree.

A person who is starved can unintentionally expand their belly far beyond what is safe to do so in that moment. Reward your child with a treat and see if they can overcome their inner temptation to eat it all in one sitting? It’s easier said than done. Especially if treats are a rare commodity in their world. In both of these instances, the experience of temptation may be more intense than the facts of a healthy intake.

Temptation also leans on the back of desperation. When someone longs for something long enough, desperation trickles in like a broken faucet dripping into a bathroom sink. It’s annoying as hell and adds up over time. Other forms of temptation could be as simple as choosing a chocolate mouse cake over a rich strawberry cheesecake, or eating a dessert at all for that matter.

Temptation is risk measured against desperation, over the price of magic that has been presented. When temptation is presented, your own personal risk management skills best be at the forefront of your mind. Especially during the law of gestation. Otherwise the price you pay in the end could be far greater than the initial risk. As I mentioned in my previous post, magic always comes with a price. The price would be you unintentionally reverting back to an old and unhealthy psychological pattern. That would be an extremely heavy price to pay indeed.

I know, based upon Clairity’s teaching, that I am currently in the law of gestation when it comes to my manifestations. I am aware that with each day, I continue to build a noteworthy legacy. I can intellectualize the fact that my life changes constantly. Energy is motion. Energy cannot remain still. Your e-motion dictates this to be so. Your thoughts dictate your emotions. Energy is in constant motion. You cannot not think. You exist. You are in constant motion.

With that in mind, the arrival of my own manifestations is inevitable. The arrival of your own personal manifestations is inevitable. You have already done it. Whatever that may be for you. Your conscious mind is simply catching up to that fact. Do you have the patience to see it through? Even when the “easy route” that leads you into further temptation has been presented before you?

With that said, during the law of gestation, temptation can certainly kick you in the butt. I can usually recognize when I am being tempted. Sometimes it’s a wee bit trickier.

As an example, one temptation is to meet people online to break my isolation. When I experience a feeling of loneliness, I consider ways I can meet people. Then I think about the common ways in which people do so, which, as far as I know, is online. There is slight temptation to make my presence known as a single woman online. Then I check what feelings I experience when I am considering this option. The feeling I get is meh. Then I consider the quality of character in my Christy. Christy is not on dating sites nor is he expressing himself publicly that way. I know this without knowing this. Then I consider, is it worth the risk to meet people online? No. It feels more like work than pleasure. The temptation is weak at best.

Choosing not to be tempted comes with its own challenges. If I am choosing not to chase by putting myself on dating sites, then I am choosing to have faith in unconventional ways. Which further means I choose to experience a continuation of loneliness and isolation, whilst trusting the universe to help me co-create my goals.

Another form of temptation is more challenging, therefore more intense and happens more frequently. Temptation appears when I spend too much of my time focused on beautiful houses, travel vlogs, and expressions of love through marriage proposals and love based ceremonies. All this stimuli appears in my daily reality. I call it in. Clairity helped me understand that this stimuli is to confirm what is on my path. I use that as my point of reference when I start longing for a place to call my own.

When I look at houses my energy sometimes dips. Not all the time. Sometimes. When it does, I become desperate to change my circumstances. I work harder. I produce more content. I tax my brain rather than relax into knowing it is inevitable to experience love and my own home, as well as a career which creates a positive impact in this world. When my energy dips I begin to feel a hopelessness. The moment that occurs I start to consider giving up. I refuse to give up. I repeat these words to myself, which are, “I choose to trust”.

The cycle of faith, trust, then desperation, to temptation, is quite the proverbial emotional rollercoaster. It is important to stabilize your energy when you know you are in the midst of experiencing this.

In what ways can you stabilize your energy? Choose not to focus on a preconceived end result. Instead, be aware of the end result whilst reminding yourself of your progress. Recognize your ego and the feelings associated with the stimulus presented to you. For me, I choose to avoid stepping into temptation by looking at my view counts on the social media apps and on here as an example. Instead, I remind myself of the butterfly effect. If I am making a difference in one person’s life, then I have already created a powerful legacy. Number counts need not apply.

I also consider the massive benefits to the isolation I chose to experience for myself. My relationship with Clairity would not be what it is today without having been in intense isolation. I also value my alone time, as well as my anonymity to a degree. The more known I become, the greater the energy to manage through external projections. Managing your ego through your external judgments, obsessions over you, and to which you yourself may have, jealousy, envy, and potential hate, is extremely challenging in of itself.  That’s heavy waters to navigate through. I can recognize this which helps me to reinforce my patience and choice to trust. I trust I am being used as an example for the world to see. This is my way and may not necessarily reflect yours. Whatever grants you patience, trust it over temptation.

You experience temptation everyday. Temptation can pull you out of alignment in an instant. When you recognize the degree of temptation, lean on your risk management skills, or those said skills in a trusted person, to determine if the price is worth it in the end.

During the law of gestation, remember, you will be shown stimuli which compliments your manifestations. Rather than be tempted through envy, jealousy, desperation, or a feeling of lack, treat the stimulation like a menu. The universe is showing you what you can select from the menu. Make your choices then switch your focus. Let the chef create your masterpiece. Measure the quality of your manifestation against the temptation before you. Then make your choice.

The closer you are to your physical experience, the stronger temptation appears. Consider when you go for a long journey. The last stretch usually feels the longest. Keep going. Avoid settling. Trust the process and trust your internal signals. Let your emotions navigate you. Take action to switch your focus when you know you are overextending yourself. Remember, not all that glitters is gold. Take the time to read the fine print. Give yourself grace to learn. Be a turtle, not a face paced hare.

Believe in yourself and trust in your team. Especially the team you don’t see. They are the ones who are giving you signs and loving support, after all.
